INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Thanks to a “Home for the Pawlidayz” special that waived all adoption fees, all of the animals at the Humane Society of Indianapolis were adopted Sunday.
According to a Facebook post, all adoptable animals at the shelter had already been adopted, had an application in place from a potential owner or had a hold placed on them by 1:30 p.m.
Photos in the post showed people coming out in full force to take advantage of the Humane Society’s holiday deal.
“Thank you for helping us clear the shelter and find our dogs and cats loving homes for the holidays!” said the shelter.
The event, which started on Black Friday, isn’t over. The shelter says it will have more animals available to adopt on Cyber Monday, the final day to take advantage of the waived adoption fee. The shelter will be open from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
