Twenty Tennessee work colleagues credited with always being there for others have won US$420 (A$566) million as part of an office lottery pool.
The North American Stamping Group co-workers learned they were winners of the second largest Tennessee jackpot in history on Tuesday, The Tennessean reports.
The workers, who live in 13 cities across Tennessee and Kentucky, are expected to each receive a US$12.7 (A$17.1) million share.
One of the winners, Steve Huffman, said his colleagues have always “had a heart to help people and be there” for others, and that the money will only further empower them to lend assistance.
“Now we can do more and help more. There’s going to be a lot of people blessed,” he said.
Another winner, Amy O’Neal, estimates the group will be aiming to provide financial assistance to an estimated 500 people in the local community, People reports.
