A cinema in Blackwood is planning a special screening for homeless people in their town.
A special showing of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them will be held at Maxime Cinema on January 9.
Jenna Curtis, 32, runs Blackwood Arts Academy along with Peter Karrie.
She and other volunteers have already gathered donations of essential items like hats, gloves, sleeping bags and toiletries.
A collection was held in the town, supported by Zoe Hammond, Blackwood Town Council and Betty’s Boutique, where more than 600 items were donated.
Items included donations of a microwave, DVDs and a television for a shelter which runs at church halls in the area.
But they decided that wasn’t enough and wanted to give something extra.
Jenna approached the cinema and was delighted when they agreed to show the JK Rowling film in a special showing.
Guests will also get a free drink and popcorn.
