UNDATED (WKRC) – “Meme magic is real!”
That is what many fans of actor Stefan Karl, AKA “Robbie Rotten” from the children’s show “Lazy Town,” have to say after raising over $80,000 to help the actor in his fight against pancreatic cancer.
“Lazy Town” is described as an “educational musical comedy program with a cast and crew from Iceland, the United Kingdom, and the United States.” The show aired on Nickelodeon and Nick Jr. among other stations globally. Although, you may know Stefan from a more local performance at the Aronoff Center in 2013, as he starred as the “Grinch” in the “Grinch Stole Christmas.”
There are many popular “memes” and YouTube videos that were created from the show, but one song, in particular, has risen to recent popularity: “We Are Number One.”
