KIRKLAND, Wash. – A woman hopes to make the holidays brighter for more than a dozen cats at a local shelter by helping them find forever homes by Christmas.
Workers at Meow Cat Rescue said the woman came into the Kirkland shelter on Friday, and became whats known as a ‘guardian angel’ to the adult cats.
That means she pre-paid the adoption fees for every adult cat in the shelter, so new potential owners don’t have to pay anything to adopt a furry friend.
The shelter said the woman was mourning the loss of her own cat, and wanted to do something special in its honor.
