CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF)– During the wildfires in Gatlinburg, many of our local first responders went up to help fight the blaze.
One brought back a new friend.
While searching an apartment complex, the Walden’s Ridge Fire department found a puppy hiding underneath a toilet.
When she went unclaimed, one of the fire fighters that found the dog gladly gave her a new home.
“We have 3 other dogs so she has jumped right into the pack and she is doing great the other dogs are enjoying her as well she has been just a lot of fun to have.”
As a reminder of where she came from they named the puppy Gatlin.
