With just a few days left until Christmas, Amy Rickel was in a desperate situation. She had moved to Green Bay, Wisconsin, so her children could be closer to their father.
Now, she found herself out of work, out of money, and running out of options. That’s when a wrongly-addressed Facebook message worked a miracle for the mom of three.
As WPXI News reports, Amy and her children had been living in a hotel, but the money had run out and they were about to be homeless. She had tried to contact homeless shelters that accept kids, only to learn that they all had waiting lists. To make matters worse, her car stopped working.
