CLEVELAND — The Cleveland Browns will match the $10,000 donation being made to the Greater Cleveland Food Bank from funds raised for the canceled perfect winless season parade, in addition to an extra $10,000 to the GCFB, the team announced Tuesday evening.
That brings the total donation to $20,000 or 80,000 meals.
In a statement, the Greater Cleveland Food Bank said the following about the team’s generous donation:
“We are blown away by the generosity and creativity of Cleveland Browns fans. In a matter of days they have donated over $10,000 to support hunger relief efforts in Northeast Ohio.
