Three puppies who were dumped in a plastic recycling bin are now happy, healthy, and ready for adoption – and it’s all thanks to a heroic dog who sniffed them out on her morning walk.

The border collie-cross pups had been abandoned in a plastic recycling bin in Failand Woods in Bristol, when a passing dog picked up on their scent, alerted their owner by barking, and rushed over to rescue them.
Had the dog not found the puppies, it’s unlikely they would have survived the freezing cold night.
The puppies were brought into Holly Hedge Animal Sanctuary, where they saw the vets and got treated to plenty of love and affection.
‘All puppies have seen the vet and are in good health, although they did need worming quite badly,’ Sarah from Holly Hedge told metro.co.uk.
