A dedication ceremony was held at the St John Pukekohe Ambulance Station on January 14 to celebrate the donation of an ambulance by Pukekohe man Malcolm Fletcher. 
Amazingly, this is the third ambulance Fletcher has donated to the station in the last several years. 
The vehicle was one of the latest “generation 2” models launched in New Zealand last year, and is decked out in the organisation’s distinctive yellow and green livery. 
The generation 2 ambulances feature the latest technology to improve staff safety and patient comfort. Their design was based on frontline staff feedback and international best practice.
