Before locking down an additional, possibly final two seasons for The Big Bang Theory, CBS will have to work out a suitable contract for actresses Melissa Rauch and Mayim Bialik, who play Bernadette and Amy, respectively. 
That, of course, means the two actresses are looking for a little more cash. As the two joined the core cast in the third season and became series regulars in its fourth, they’ve often been considered supporting players and therefore have not been paid on par with stars Kaley Cuoco, Johnny Galecki, Jim Parsons, Kunal Nayyar and Simon Helberg.
In order to help their co-stars reach an amicable deal, the core five have chosen to take (relatively minimal) pay cuts in order to “free up money for raises” for Rauch and Bialik, reports Variety.
