It all started with a question: How can the men of Alpha Tau Omega create a lasting impact and contribute to a worthy cause? The answer came in the form of ATO Walks Hard: Many Steps for MS.
Walk Hard is an annual philanthropic event in which twenty members of ATO walk 160 miles from Traverse City, Michigan to Allendale, Michigan over the course of eight days. The young men who walk do so voluntarily, sacrificing their spring breaks and enduring the harsh weather in order to raise money for and spread awareness of Multiple Sclerosis.
MS is a debilitating, physically agonizing disease that affects over two million people worldwide. Worse yet, there is no known cure, and treatment options are limited. For this reason amongst others, it is pivotal that we reach our goal to further the research and finally put an end to Multiple Sclerosis.
