NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) –A lucky little dog whose life was recently saved from an unspeakable fate overseas had to be saved again in New York City in the middle of the snowstorm this week.
As CBS2’s Tracee Carrasco reported, precious little Pandy cowers in the corner of the Animal Haven, a rescue shelter in SoHo. The sweet, but shy 4-year-old mutt has only been at the shelter for a few weeks – saved from a horrific life in Thailand.
“She was rescued from the dog meat trade in Asia — the illegal dog meat trade,” said Animal Haven executive director Tiffany Lacey.
During the snowstorm Tuesday, Pandy got spooked by the snow and wind.
