Orphaned cats will have a sweet new spot to take a catnap in after a donation of 10 doll beds and $300 from Ikea to the Etobicoke Humane Society.
In a video uploaded Tuesday, the cats at the shelter are seen curiously investigating and curling up on the mini beds donated by Ikea’s Etobicoke location. Just a day after its upload on Facebook, the video surpassed 20,000 views.
“I’m really surprised about all the attention the video got,” said Rebecca Gordon, social media manager at the Etobicoke Humane Society.
“It’s good exposure especially because we always need resources for the animals.”
