CANTON/EMORY, Texas (KETK) – It has been a little over a week since deadly tornadoes struck the East Texas area. As families continue to search through what was left of their homes, many people are still stepping up to help. One Emory man is using his hobby of metal detecting to find people’s missing items, such as jewelry.
On Friday, Ariel Duke wrote on Facebook ‘I know it’s a long shot, but I’m looking for my wedding ring.’ Her and husband, Justin, were displaced after a tornado leveled their home in Canton. Nathan Wright, a complete stranger to them, set out  Monday to give them their last bit of hope.
“I asked if there was any other thing she wanted me to try to find and she said ‘that’s all I’m worried about,'” said Wright. “What I brought home to give them, probably 10 pound of bullets, five pounds of pull tabs …
