Six-year-old Jeffrey “Lil J” Laney made viral waves recently when a video of himself issuing an impassioned plea for those in his native St. Louis, Mo. to put a stop to the gun violence that plagues their city. Plenty of people noticed his call to action. One of them was Pusha T, who took it upon himself to respond to Lil J with an open letter and a ton of gifts.
In the hand-written note, Pusha, who donated 2,000 cases of water bottles to Flint, Mich. residents during their water crisis last year, commends Lil J for taking a stand against violence.
