A team of the police in Cologne, helped five young swans and both of their parents safely on the main road over the campus on this morning.
The seven-headed family showed itself extremely cooperative and turned to the streets blocked by uniforms as quickly as possible. In white feather dress responsible persons with fluffy but rather inconspicuous gray shrouded offspring were broken off to a exploration course along the university road.
Shortly and without caring any of the traffic rules, the swans decided to cross the university road to inspect the opposite green space. Thanks to the help of quickly arrived policemen, mother and father swan, followed by their five chicks, reached the opposite road safely and well. Due to the good cooperation between police and swans, the handicaps for other road users were limited to a minimum.
Thanks to Police Cologne and the Swans.
Nobody was harmed.
