WATERLOO, Iowa (KCRG-TV9) – Cats are crawling around some offices in Black Hawk County.
These cats are part of a program called Office Cats. It’s a new way to help animals in need and maybe boost the morale of office employees.
The Office Cat program has only been around for a month. Five businesses are already taking part in it.
The shelter selects a cat with the right temperament for the office. Then the office takes care of the cat until someone wants to adopt it.
A cat named Squeak currently lives at the Family and Children’s Council.
