The singer will reportedly testify in the case regarding a series of texts Kesha sent her in 2013 about the alleged assault.
Just one day after Taylor Swift won her sexual assault lawsuit against former radio host DJ David Mueller, Lady Gaga will now reportedly testify in Dr. Luke’s ongoing defamation case against Kesha.
In July, Dr. Luke officially subpoenaed Lady Gaga for deposition regarding alleged texts that Kesha sent her accusing him of rape in 2013, in which the singer reportedly describes the producer as having allegedly drugged and raped her.
E! News reports that lawyers for Gaga have now agreed to hand over text messages related to the lawsuit, according to court documents filed Tuesday in Manhattan Supreme Court, with the ‘Bad Romance’ singer agreeing to appear for deposition in September and to ‘produce unredacted copies of certain of the documents that were previously produced in redacted form’.
