Hassan Zubier was pictured in a wheelchair with his arm in a sling after being stabbed as he tackled an 18-year-old Moroccan asylum seeker on Friday.
Two died and seven others were injured in Turku, 90 miles west of the capital Helsinki, before the terrorist was arrested after being shot by police.
Paramedic Hassan, 45, from Dartford, Kent, was praised for helping others, including a woman who died in his arms.
But he insisted: “I am not a hero. I did what I was trained for. I did my best and more.
