PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla. (CBS12) — 
William Morales was preparing to celebrate his 13th birthday all alone until the community found out and gathered for an unforgettable celebration.
“That’s a lot of people,” Morales said.
Hundreds of people came out Sunday not just to wish him a happy birthday, but to stand up against bullying.
“I don’t want other people to feel what I feel at school,” Morales said.
Morales is diagnosed with autism and has been bullied at school.
“Last year was awful,” Morales said. “It was not fun.”
It’s been difficult for his parents to watch.
“The whole summer William was panicking saying I don’t want to go to school. I don’t want to go to school,” said Tricia Morales, William’s mother.
Morales and his family hope his birthday party brings awareness against bullying.
“I can’t let them win,” Tricia Morales said. “And I will not let them win.”
