Following the news that a gunman had fired at the Route 91 Harvest country music festival in Las Vegas, many stories swiftly came out about those caught up in the mayhem.
There was poker player and Instagram star Dan Bilzerian, who was one of the hundreds running for cover, as well as a man who stood up and flipped the bird to the gunman, Stephen Paddock.
There was also a man who stole a truck to save victims of the mass shooting.
The man was later revealed to be 29-year-old former marine Taylor Winston. He found the car with the keys still inside, and selflessly drove back and forth to the scene while bullets were still raining down, driving people away from the massacre.
The owner of the truck has now reportedly managed to get in touch with Winston, sending him a message.
