A dying Christchurch man left $5000 out of pocket after pre-paying his funeral with Poppy Funerals just got some good news.
Christchurch company Lamb and Hayward has offered to pay for his funeral.
Tom Wilson, 75, was given two years to live and pre-paid his funeral with Poppy Funerals in September so his family did not have to worry about it when he died.
Poppy Funerals director Jasmin Teague? closed the company down in October, following several customer complaints. She has yet to return Wilson’s money and has not been in contact with the family since October 5.
