Sarah Silverman, a comedian who tackles social taboos and controversial topics, isn’t known for being a soft touch. And she’s no stranger to internet hate campaigns.
Recently, Silverman proved to be more than just a controversial comedian when she told her followers that she’d be willing to discuss politics with Trump supporters. She was soon subjected to a sexist response by a twitter profile associated with the name Jeremy Jamrozy.
Silverman, who didn’t get angry, instead took time to look at the profile of the person attacking her. She could see that he was suffering from many issues and that he had reached a difficult point in his life.
