NEPTUNE – It was a lucky day for a dog caught in a house fire on Leonard Avenue.
The dog was resuscitated by firefighters who were able to locate her after the human occupants of the dwelling, along with two other dogs, were safely evacuated, as you can see in the video above.

Units were dispatched to the street around 9:40 a.m. Friday after receiving reports of a structure fire and observed heavy smoke coming from the residence.
The dog, whose name is Jasmine, was removed from the home by firefighters and resuscitated by Deputy Emergency Management Coordinator Mike DiLeo and Neptune Township EMS Manager Bil Rosen.
