CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – An abandoned puppy who was brought into Montgomery County Animal Care and Control received a lifesaving surgery thanks to donations.
The Yorkshire terrier, who was named Braven, was taken in for emergency care after he was found abandoned on a porch in a small crate.
A total of $4,332 was raised to help Braven receive his surgery and the donation link was shared over 1,000 times on Facebook.
He received the surgery on January 9 and recovered well. Braven is now eating normally, alert, and is having normal bowel movements. He is currently staying in a temporary foster home with a vet to be monitored.
