Tom Mackay, a man from Sydney that has been struggling with anxiety and depression walked almost 1000 miles across India in order to raise money and awareness towards mental health and in the process raised more than 13’000$.
In his journey he was fighting fatigue, dehydration and even a stray King Cobra!
He now has returned to Australia after completing his bold journey from Bekal to the Bay of Bengal. It took him nearly two months to complete his journey. With him he only took a pulling cart that contained all of his possessions.
“Opening up about what I was going through and making a conscious effort to look after my physical and mental health has made a massive difference to my life.” Says Tom.
