A Marine veteran has been reunited with his prosthetic leg after losing it earlier in Old Hickory Lake, Tennessee.
A good samaritan began the search when he learned the leg had been lost while helping the Marine vet load his jet-ski up, according to WKRN.  Tim Cranford called the Hendersonville Fire Department dive team to assist him.
Eventually, the team found the leg Wednesday evening after searching for four hours.
Captain Kevin Paseur remarked on finding the leg, “Never looked for a leg before, but yeah glad to do it. It was good to do a little payback for what he’s done.”
Now the hard part began — they needed to locate the Marine. They took to social media with the hopes of locating the owner.
“We hadn’t even met the guy, didn’t know his name, didn’t know if we could even find him,” Paseur explained.
